The 4th International Conference on Agricultural and Food Engineering (CAFEi2018) will be held in November, 2018 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The commitment of engineers, scientists and technologists, to ensuring a safe and abundant food supply, preserving the environment and contributing to healthier people everywhere is integral to the evolution of the world society. Recognizing the importance to discuss these issues critically, the International Conference on Agricultural and Food Engineering was initiated in 2012 by the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering and the Department of Process and Food Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The aim of these biennial conferences is to provide a conducive platform to discuss and exchange relevant information, identifying new theoretical and practical approaches to address the tremendous challenges associated with agriculture and food engineering.

World population is expected to exceed 9 billion by 2050. Agricultural industry must produce enough food and fibre to feed a growing population. Sustaining agriculture nowadays become more challenging to adapt the world’s climate change. We encourage papers related to Agriculture and Food Security with the idea to discuss the different possibilities for improving the efficiency of agricultural practices for high quality food production. Conference topics include but are not limited to:

Publication:
All accepted abstracts with full papers will be published in a scientifically reviewed e-Conference’s Proceeding with International Standard Book Number (ISBN). Selected papers will be recommended for publication in Scopus indexed journal (special issue) including Pertanika Journals, International Food Research Journal (IFRJ) as well as open access journal Information Processing in Agriculture (IPA).

The Editorial Board will closely monitor all manuscripts in order to keep up a high scientific and technical standard throughout. Special emphasis is to be made on the high quality papers and correct use of the English language. Each paper will be reviewed by three competent reviewers. Authors will be informed about these instructions in the final circular and call for papers.

Abstract:
An abstract in English, not more than 250 words in a single paragraph is required in all cases. The abstract should contain a concise but comprehensive statement of the problem and results. The full title (should not exceeding 25 words), author’s name(s) and affiliation(s), should be displayed at the top of the page. Keywords should not more than eight words in alphabetical order and should be displayed at the bottom of the page. See sample article provided for format.
