Global interest in water has increased rapidly in recent years. Many water issues are high on the political agenda, whether it concerns the lack of access to safe water and sanitation or the increase in water‐related disasters due to floods and droughts. Hydro-environment engineering and research is more important than ever. We look forward to meeting you at the IAHR World Congress in Kuala Lumpur from 13 August to 18 August 2017.

On behalf of the IAHR World Congress 2017 LOC, we are delighted to extend an invitation to you to join us in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the IAHR World Congress 2017. The National Hydraulics Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM), Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID) and the River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre (REDAC), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) are collaborating with IAHR to organize the IAHR World Congress 2017. Authors are invited to submit their abstract (max. 2 pages) electronically by August 1, 2016.
